One government teacher was killed and two others critically injured in a road accident in Suigwari area on Doda Kishtwar Highway early in the morning here today . An official said that a Alto car bearing registration number JK17 3831 was on its way from Kishtwar to Doda met with an accident in Suigwari area when their vehicle plunged into a gorge , resulting into death of one person and injury to two persons on board.The deceased was identified as Arvind Singh Jamwal 23 s/o Bream Singh Jamwal r/o village Gallu Halaran and was posted as teacher at UPS Bitolla Khara and two injured were identified as Jajinder Parihar 60 s/o Sant Ram r/o Mata Kishtwar and Amir Parihar 25 s/o Rajinder Parihar r/o Kishtwar . The road accident have once again brought into focus the dilapidated conditions of the roads in Chenab Valley region. It is a sad state of affairs that no serious attention has been paid by the successive state governments during the past more than seven decades and no effort has been made to make the roads safer for the commuters.
